Auto Car Insurance
As NJ Law. If I cancel Auto Insurance on my car, I had to deliver the plates to the MVC?
I have a car that is rarely used now, I can keep plates in the car without insurance. And if I use this car to reactivate my auto policy for specific days. Is this legal? Be that in some states and not others. If I do stay insurance and have to surrender the plates, how long I have until the MVC penalize me?
In NJ all registered vehicles must have insurance, so, you need to turn in their badges if they will not have insurance on the vehicle. Moreover, in most the cities of New Jersey, you can not have an unmarked vehicle parked so as to be visible from the street. Therefore, it should take in the garage or behind from home. So every time you need to use the car, then re-register, then call insurance to add the car to your policy, then, when finished, you need to turn on the plates, show plate reception gave his insurance agent and then delete the new car insurance.
