Countries around the world are banning mobile phone usage while driving. The reason is the high number of accidents attributed to cell phone use while driving. According to research conducted by the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute, which set up the behavior of tracking devices in vehicles of 241 people, distracted drivers are four times more likely to enter the collisions than non-distracted drivers. Note that in order to be included on the list, a country is to ban cell phone use in the car, at least in one province / state. For example, in Canada it is legal to drive and use a cell phone while driving in British Columbia, but is illegal in Ontario.
